These terms govern your use of creatingbig.com (the “Site”), operated by Creatingbig Publishing (OPC) Private Limited (“we,” “us,” “our”). By visiting or using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Creatingbig is Tarun Mathur’s personal author and publishing site — books, blog posts, and short fiction, with a comment section, a newsletter, and a contact form. It isn’t an e-commerce store: books are sold through Amazon, which has its own terms and handles the actual purchase, payment, and delivery.
Links on this Site to buy a book (e.g. “Buy on Amazon”) take you to a third-party retailer. Any purchase, payment, shipping, or return is governed entirely by that retailer’s own terms and policies, not by this Site. We aren’t a party to that transaction and don’t process payments, store card details, or fulfill orders ourselves.
You can leave a note (comment) on blog posts and stories. By posting one, you agree that:
You can like or dislike books, posts, and stories. This uses an anonymous browser cookie to prevent duplicate votes — see our Privacy Policy for details on how that works. Don’t attempt to manipulate reaction counts through automated tools, multiple browsers, or any other artificial means.
Subscribing requires confirming your email address via a link we send you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. We don’t sell or rent your email address to third parties.
Messages sent through the contact form are received and may be stored so we can respond to and keep a record of correspondence. Don’t use the contact form to send spam, unlawful content, or unsolicited commercial messages.
All original writing, images, and design on this Site — books, blog posts, short stories, and the site’s visual design — belong to Tarun Mathur / Creatingbig Publishing (OPC) Private Limited, unless otherwise credited. You may read, share, and link to this content, but you may not republish, copy, or use it commercially without our permission.
Notes/comments you post remain yours, but by posting you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them on the Site as part of the relevant page.
Blog posts and articles on this Site (including ones covering topics like supply chains, technology, or travel) reflect personal opinions and experience. They’re not professional, financial, legal, or investment advice, and shouldn’t be relied on as such.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site — including individual posts, the comment system, or the newsletter — at any time, without notice. We don’t guarantee the Site will always be available or error-free.
The Site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on any content published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it can’t legally be limited.
The Site links to third-party sites (Amazon, social media, etc.). We don’t control and aren’t responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [This is a placeholder default — confirm the correct jurisdiction/courts with a lawyer, since it affects where a dispute would legally need to be resolved.]
